Testimonials from pastors of churches in Singapore where we have conducted trainings
Testimonials from brothers and sisters who have attended trainings in churches
Testimonials from former students who attended practical apologetics class:
"...I now understand better what is holding back many people from coming to
Christ i.e., the barriers they encounter in understanding and then in embracing the Christian
faith. As I become more equipped and embolden to add the spiritual dimension in
my conversation with friends and colleagues, I discover that people are willing
to engage in conversations of a spiritual nature much more often than I previously
thought. Conversational Evangelism has opened a whole new approach for me to share
the gospel in a less threatening way and I thank God for the opportunity to learn
this tool which is so relevant for our day. I look forward to using this tool more
in the days ahead and see how God is going to plant the seeds of the gospel through it and reap a harvest in His good time."
- Elder Ho Hian Chye
"Without a doubt, the Conversational Evangelism methodology by Prof. David
is a much-needed formula to reaching out non-believers in this part of Asia. I have
been reaching out to my non-believer friends who are mainly Singapore university
students, and I find myself often being confronted with pluralistic worldviews,
tough questions on the Christian faith and more often than not, a strong nonchalance
towards things about God. Asians, by nature, are reserved in character. Very often,
when confronted with topics which contradict their traditional beliefs, they may
not disagree verbally and may just dismiss it with a polite smile. This makes evangelism
particularly difficult as it provides few opportunities for me to surface their
discrepancies in their worldviews and belief systems. With the Conversational Evangelism,
I am now better equipped to detect an opening to talk about spiritual matters, use
intelligent questions to arouse their interests in things about God and also ready
to respond appropriately to questions prompted either by emotional barriers or intellectual
hindrances. Evangelism in this post-modern age is increasingly difficult. Thank
God for His work through Prof. David in training a new generation with a truly much-needed
strategy in winning souls for the Kingdom of God! Glory be to God!"
