Meekness and Truth Ministries Mission/Vision
Our Purpose Statement: Meekness and Truth Ministries is
dedicated to educating Christians to more effectively use apologetics in
evangelism to help fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Our Vision: Our vision is to see churches in the East
and West actively train its members in pre-evangelism as the most effective
approach to open doors for sharing the Gospel in an increasing
post-Christian culture.
Our Concern: Some evangelical approaches in doing
evangelism today are proving to be a stumbling block and losing their
effectiveness for many reasons.
Our Solution: We believe that in this new millennium we
must actively engage in pre-evangelism if we are to reach those that are
skeptical, indifferent, or openly hostile towards the claims of Christ.
Our Mission: To be a catalyst to help other churches,
ministries, seminaries, and college ministry workers to develop new
paradigms in pre-evangelism which more effectively supplement evangelism
training in the East and West.
Our desire is to provide free
pre-evangelism resources and training to better equip Christians for the
challenges of reaching a skeptical post-Christian world. We also see the
need for Christians to develop deeper Biblical foundations in their faith,
leading to greater maturity in their faith and a greater readiness and
ability to more effectively reach those affected by the values and beliefs
of this current generation. To supplement and strengthen our collective
witness in a post-Christian world (see Birth of a Vision),
we make a variety of resources available by free downloads and also through
our Resource CD to better equip the body of Christ collectively.
If you find these tools useful, please pass on our link to your friends.
Our desire is to provide you with additional tools to help you to be more
effective in your witness to others.
"I know of no
other ministry who is doing a better job to equip the church in
pre-evangelism resources. Conversational Evangelism is a vital tool in
re-equipping the body of Christ in this new millennium to forward the
Gospel in the unreached areas of the world." Dr. Norman
Geisler
"The
Conversational Evangelism approach is one of the few transferable methodologies
I've seen that seeks to integrate Christian evidence into one's daily
witness to more effectively reach the hearts and minds of skeptics,
pluralists, and postmodernists of this current age. I believe that every
church would benefit by integrating the concepts of Conversational
Evangelism into their existing evangelistic programs and strategies!" Josh McDowell
"David Geisler’s Conversational Evangelism
model is a winsome and effective presentation of how skeptics perceive the
Gospel and how we might help them discover its truth for themselves. While
recognizing the vital role of the Holy Spirit in the process, he illustrates
how asking probing questions and pointing out the inconsistencies between
belief and behavior till the ground—and is often the pre-evangelism
necessary—to help remove long-entrenched barriers to the Gospel. I
enthusiastically recommend David’s pre-evangelism methodology and his work
through Meekness and Truth Ministries." Ravi Zacharias
